Spring Recital: Joie de Vivre  May 14, 2022

Countdown to recital!
Please make sure you have marked your calendars! The week begins May 9.  Class attendance is mandatory and necessary to prepare properly for our performance on Saturday May 14.  Classes will be held as normal on Monday through Thursday. Friday will be the dress rehearsal. This year's recital will be a fun one - joie de vivre means "the exuberant enjoyment of life!"

Friday Dress Rehearsal Schedule

Arrival times for dancers
  • Staging:  Junior Company and Ballet 3:   3:45
  • Staging:  Ballet 2:  4:45  (parent required to remain with student)
  • Staging:  Ballet 1 & Jazz:   5:15  (parent required to remain with student)
  • Dress rehearsal for Ballet 1 and up:   6:00 -this lasts until 7:15  (parent required to remain with student)
  • Staging and dress rehearsal for Cinderella:   7:30

Call Times for Saturday

  • Ballet 1 & up:  10:00 (parent required to remain with student until check in)
  • Foundations: 10:15 (parent required to remain with student until check in)
  • Preballet: 10:30 (parent required to remain with student until check in)​​
In the break between shows rest and eat some lunch! There are plenty of food choices in the nearby area.  
  • Ballet 1 & up:  3:00 (parent required to remain with student until check in)
  • Foundations: 3:15 (parent required to remain with student until check in)
  • Preballet: 3:30 (parent required to remain with student until check in)
​*Call time means your dancer needs to arrive and be ready to perform
Hair and make-up guide:
  • Hair should be in a bun, with no bangs or hair on the face
  • No jewelry
  • Makeup - heavy foundation, powder, blush and black mascara is best; red lipstick
  • No makeup is required for Preballet - your choice
  • Pink tights (no holes); a nude leotard, if you have one, under a coverup; 
  • Pink ballet slippers (no holes)
You are welcome to bring snacks and a water bottle, however, no eating in costume and only water to drink.

Tickets on sale at the door. $10 youth/$15 adults; seating is first come first serve.
